My Re-draft

The Original

This is my first attempt at a Contents page for a Marie Claire magazine. I am really pleased with how it turned out and despite some slight inconsistencies such as varying subtitle colours, believe the page looks very professional. The image itself was a quick example image and doesn't reflect the thought and quality that would be reflected in my final image. Furthermore, the scale of certain things needs to be amended such as the title '101 Ideas' where the 101 needs to be much larger to stand out.

The exact layout hasn't been replicated as I do not know the font and don't have the same image composition but it was a useful lesson in layout and has contributed towards my ideas for my own contents pages. I don't think that I will put as much text on my contents page in such small font as it appears overcrowded and difficult to read. I will make my sub-titles bold so the pages are easily navigated and orderly. In doing this task, I realised there is a lot to be wary of in the fine details. Every element of my pages need to come together and there must be elements of digital convergence relating to my website to tie the coursework together and meet the brief.
