(For Men)

This far more modern edition of the cricketer encompasses more of the aspects I am keen to incorporate into my own front cover. There is a distinct and complimentary colour palette and I much prefer a more minimalistic approach to the layout. I am keen to include an action shot but also to encapsulate the spirit of the sport: the team spirit, the energy and how historically it resonates with people all over the world. The underdog to football and American sports such as basketball.

Football magazines are few and far between as we move through an increasingly digital age. Therefore, I believe a specific sport being the focus of my magazine is too niche and I believe I will focus the main theme on Men's health, allowing me to incorporate sporting imagery, healthy eating and mention of mental health. I will execute this in a way that appeals to a younger audience through social media mentions and reference to famous sports icons to keep the readers engaged. I will ensure I allocate space on the cover and contents that appeals to younger, student audiences as well as the 25 year old targets who are more likely at the beginning of their careers and fully integrated into adulthood.
