*NEW* Oscar's Cap Collection

IMG_5503_edited.jpg

When it comes to an easy accessory, a simple cap is the way to go and no one has a bigger collection than Oscar. A cap for any occasion, with memories attached: Oscar walks us through where he got his hats from and we even managed to meet with him as he trains for cadets, full uniform and matching cap!

As seen in the video to the right, we ask Oscar to tell us the story behind the caps he's bought. The locations ranged from Australia to Rome in Italy! However, we advise that you steer clear of an all-black hat to avoid the Netflix special 'YOU' Joe Goldberg resemblance.

In recent years your average unstyled headwear has gone out of style, we have done our research and have found it just makes an outfit look more basic. It doesn't have to though... there's a rise in chic headwear such as berets and beanies and they create the perfect cozy but fashionable addition to any outfit. We recommend you capsule buy clothes to avoid being dissapointed when items don't match.

Y2K Footwear

The Y2K fashion is making a comeback not just for women. Oversized 2000s shirts, cargos, and graphic t-shirts are all the rage now. Gone are the days of basic fashion that doesn't reflect your personality.

This goes for shoes in particular. They're a great addition to your outfit and it garners the respect of other keen shoe collectors as well as the girls' attention! Nike are at the top seller spot for this new revival range closely followed by adidas. The decade long rivalry.

Vintage Sportswear

Return To The 90s

Wearing an oversized vintage shirt is the in thing in men's fashion at the moment and they're perfect for going out and for staying in, lazing around on FIFA while repping your team. We asked Niall to walk us through the stories:

"So, this Dr Martens sponsored Rushden Diamonds shirt was my dad's first game. He went to see them with his dad who bought him it and he said to me that he knew he had to save it in case he had a son of his own. I wasn't even aware he had them until I kickstarted my own collection and he brought them out of hiding!"

We asked what the Old Trafford atmosphere is like:

" The atmosphere was unreal; I was only 8 but I remember it like it was yesterday. We got into the stands, and it was a dream, I had no concept of how big it really was as you just watch it on TV, and it doesn't do it justice at all. We got food and drink and screamed until I had a sore throat, I nearly lost my voice to be honest. It was a 3-0 game to us, and I couldn't recommend going to see your team in person more, but I do realise it's expensive, haha and I could never afford it now at Uni. It's on the bucket list again for sure."

Niall walks us through his wardrobe and the collection is impressive!

As an avid Man United fan, Niall's collection has become full of red and yellow but hand-me-downs from his dad's younger days as a more local Rushden Diamonds fan has helped add to his collection. We sought through the shirts he has brought for us to take a look at, and he talked us through some of the memories made in them.

What Influenced the team you chose?

Family tradition, it's that simple. Some people go their own way but it's a no-brainer with my Dad being such a big supporter of the team already.
